Rules, Regulations, and Information

Entry Fee:         $50 per individual angler

Basic Info:

·         Saturday, September 1^st  

·         Lines can be in no earlier than 7am.

·         All lines out of the water at 3:30pm

·         All fish are to be checked in at Portside Pub in Cambridge Creek by 4pm

·         Awards are given at 4:30pm

Rules:

1.    All fish are to be caught within the Choptank River

2.    There is no limit to where within the Choptank River a fish may be caught

3.    Fishing can be done by land, bridge, or boat

4.    Check-in can be done at Portside Seafood Restaurant any time after 1pm, anglers are permitted to return fishing

5.    Fish are measured by length and not weight

6.    If only one fish is turned in, in either category, that fish wins 1^st, 2^nd, and 3^rd places prizes.

7.    Categories are Rockfish, Perch, Spot, Hardhead, and Catfish

8.    Women’s Calcutta is for the largest fish caught by a female

1^st =$500

2^nd=$250

3^rd=$100
